MLGW ESO Special Materials Storage Building

Bid Information:

The project scope is to construct a new building to house all special electrical substation components currently stored outside and at various locations at MLGW’s Electric Operations Facility, 2425 Covington Pike in Memphis, TN 38128 in accordance as outlined in the Contract Documents, Drawings and Specifications.

All Sealed Bids, Bid Bonds, and completely filled out Bid Envelopes will be received from bidders on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at the Contracts Management Office, Memphis Light, Gas and Water Division (“MLGW” or “Division”), Room 323, 220 South Main Street, Memphis, Tennessee (mailing address: P.O. Box 430, Memphis, Tennessee 38101-0430), prior to 4:00 PM CDT/CST. If you bring your bid to MLGW, please allow 30 minutes prior to 4:00 PM CDT/CST for MLGW security clearance and delivery of bids to the Contracts Management Department. The official time of receipt will be established in the Contracts Management Department and not at the main floor security desk. *Bids will be publicly opened and read via Zoom Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at 2:00 PM CDT/CST.

A Supplier Diversity goal of 30% has been assigned to this Contract. A Supplier Diversity goal has been assigned to this Contract.

Bids will be awarded based on the Lowest and Best Bid. Lowest and Best Bid is defined as the most responsive bid, solicitation or offer that meets required Specifications, including if applicable, any Supplier diversity goal as set in the Bid Packet or Bid Invitation, Specifications, Price, Start Date and Completion Date and the Local Bidding Preference.
