Erosion work for the Nature Conservancy Non Profit

Notice is hereby given pursuant to this Request for Bids (this “RFB”) that sealed bids (in each case, a “Bid”) for the project described below (the “Project”) will be received by The Nature Conservancy, a District of Columbia non-profit corporation (“TNC” or “Owner”) up to the hour of 5:00 p.m. Central Time on Wednesday May 22, 2024 following which the Bids will be opened publicly and read aloud.

The work to be performed in completing the Project (the “Work”) is to be completed by December 2026 as provided herein, and shall consist of furnishing all equipment, tools, labor, and other work or items incidental there to in order to carry out the Work, consisting essentially of:

Construction of approximately 0.5 miles (2,500 linear feet) of new 18” - 24” wide natural surface trail following BMP standards set by TNC to reduce the possibility of erosion, and approximately 1,700 linear feet of 4’ wide elevated boardwalk structure. Includes construction of trail surface and such other work as may be necessary to complete the Work as specified in the contract(s) ultimately let to do the Work (in each case, a “Construction Contract”), the components of which are described in this RFB (collectively, the “Contract Documents”), including (but not limited to) the plans and specifications which are set out in the Construction Documents (collectively, the “Plans and Specifications”).

A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday May 8, 2024, at the William Kirsch Preserve location, 8803 Ranch Blvd, Little Rock, AR 72223. Potential Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend the meeting.
