2024.02 College Avenue Shared Use Path

Bid Information:

Sealed bids addressed to the City of Conway, Arkansas, will be received at the City of Conway Town Hall Square, 1111 Main Street, Conway, Arkansas 72032, until 10:00 am, April 11, 2024, for the construction of 12’ shared use path along College Avenue. The sealed bids will then be opened and publicly read aloud. The work includes all labor, material, and equipment required to perform the work as described in the project plans and specifications.

The attention of bidders is called to the fact that Act 150 of 1965 (as amended), Arkansas Statutes, states that a Contractor must be licensed by the State Licensing Board for Contractors before he may undertake work when the cost thereof in Arkansas is Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00) or more.

Negotiation with contractors during the period following the opening of bids and before the award of the contract is strictly prohibited.

The City of Conway, Arkansas hereby notifies all bidders that this contract is subject to applicable labor laws, non-discrimination provisions, wage rate laws and other federal laws including the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938. The Work Hours Act of 1962 and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 also apply.
