Bid Dam Bridge North Plaza - Re-Bid

This proposed project will be to construct a 2600 SF concrete plaza and pavilion approximately 40 feet away from the ART to provide a much needed user separation while also minimizing flood impact. The pedestrian traffic will be corralled to enter the trail at the kiosk, which will narrow the multiple access points down to just one. The plaza will be slightly lifted to deter flood damage with concrete/stone seat walls for a gathering area. A large pavilion will be constructed to provide shelter from the conditions, while several bike focused amenities will be added, including: bike repaired stations, water bottle filling station, and bike parking. Safety and signage additions will be added to better minimize the user conflict.
