Project Information:

All asbestos abatement must be performed in accordance with the abatement design documents provided by BH&M Environmental and in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. The contractor shall submit notifications as required by the Shelby County Health Department. A close-out package with necessary work records and waste manifest must be submitted following the work. The abatement design document provides details regarding the type, quantity, and location of all materials to be abated.

The owner will provide 3rd party project monitoring.

Building Demolition

  • Demolish the building following asbestos abatement and remove all materials and nearby debris and dispose of it in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.

  • Demolish fencing, trees, shrubs, outbuildings, etc. as discussed during the pre-bid meeting.

  • The sewer must be capped and marked just off the street.

  • Cut, fill, and grade the site as necessary after demolition to leave the site in a smooth condition.

  • Install Meyers Zoysia sod on all bare areas and included site watering for 10-days following installation.

All utilities have been disconnected and/or demolished by MLGW and the Town of Collierville.

All work shall be completed by October 25, 2024.
