High School Gym Ceiling Improvements for Dover Schools

Scope of Work:

The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following:

1. The existing interior gymnasium ceiling will receive a new two-inch thick layer of closed cell, spray foam insulation between the metal building main frame rafters. The new insulation layer will then be sealed with a fire resistant intumescent coating. The newly insulated areas will then receive a dry-fall paint finish. The existing fabric ductwork is to be cleaned in place per the manufacturers recommendations to remove accumulated dust and dirt. There will also be some miscellaneous painting of equipment housings, pipes, etc. Through all phases of the work the contractor will be responsible for the protection of the wooden gym floor, retractable seats, fixed bleachers, and any ceiling mounted / suspended items that are to remain in place during construction, including but not limited to mechanical equipment, ductwork, lights, speakers, basketball goals, piping and conduit.

Bid Information:

The Owner will receive bids until 2:00 p.m., local time, May 14th, 2024. Bids may be mailed or delivered to the Office of the Superintendent, Josh Daniels, Dover School District, 9371 Market Street, Dover, Arkansas 72837. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Board Room at the Office of the Superintendent at the time and date mentioned. Interested parties are invited to attend.
